Mat carries his mug and his stories around with his guitars, harmonicas and machines. Alone on stage, this dealer in ditties distils music that oscillates between French chanson, punk rock and Irish folk. An endearing character who shares his impressions and experiences with a hoarse voice and the incisive pen of a punk with a tender heart. A world tinged with anger, tenderness and self-deprecation that smells of pavement and barroom poetry. A one-man band bursting with energy and a touch of madness.

After 12 years on the road and on stage with various punk, rock and French chanson groups, he decided to go it alone in 2014. Since then, he has released 4 studio albums, including the latest, ‘Aujourd'hui comme hier’, released in November 2022. From café-concert to festival, some 400 dates under his belt across France, Belgium and Switzerland.
